I think Gothik was harder to figure out and execute than any other fight so far. Sure, we cheesed it a little bit by stacking 8 Priests, but the fight is definitely not one to be underestimated.

After a few nights of trying we finally had both sides do perfectly and killed him with 1 death because Dori (the Mage) doesn't know how to wait until something is tanked before attacking! We got some crappy loot.

Here is a somewhat terrible video of the last half of the fight from a Paladin's view on the dead side.

Now it's really onto Loatheb who feels very killable after a couple hours of trying.

Apparently, we can dance.

And thus begins the trail of tears....

Well I'm sort of embarassed we took an extra week to drop Thaddius, but I guess it's better late than never. After making 0 progress last week due to an excess of sucking (blaming the DotA crew), Thaddius is dead on our 2nd night of trying.

You'd think this fight would be easy. I mean, it is the most straightforward fight we've faced so far. There is no luck, you can't get "unlucky", it is 100% execution. If you wipe, it's because someone made a mistake. And there is so little room to make mistakes. In time, I think that this fight will proove to be one of the easiest in the zone.

Don't get me wrong, we have a very lag-free server and mostly good computers. I can only imagine what this fight is like for people who are on laggy servers. 2 seconds of lag or 1 person crashes usually ends up in everyone dying. The fight itself is designed perfectly, but it's too bad the technology behind it is keeping some people down.

Anyway, here's a movie (Priest point of view):

Thaddius Kill Movie

What's a Thaddius kill without everyone dying at the end? I'm pretty sure Trailmix pulled a muscle laughing after this happened.

Picture of Rithriaem IRL:

This kill would not have been possible without Schwa screaming at us on Ventrilo every time Polarity Shift was cast. MVP: Schwa.

Now we have some damage meters for anyone who likes to view these!

That's all for today. Tomorrow, we learn to dance.
